My Favourite Maple Leaf

Alright guys, I recently posted a poll asking who your favourite Maple Leaf is.  Well I think it's only fair if I also answer the question, so my answer is Nazem Kadri.  This kid is sick.  He was drafted 7th overall in 2008 by the Maple Leafs, and although he hasn't played much in the NHL yet, you can tell he's going to be in the NHL for a long time.  This was a move he pulled in the shootout vs. Boston earlier this year


Every time he carries the puck during a game I get excited.  He is amazing at "dangling" defensemen and making goaltenders look like pylons.  I really hope this 20 year old continues to develop into a home grown Maple Leaf superstar.  He's got the potential, now it's up to him to fill out.

    I think the unsung heroes of hockey are the ref's. It's insane how nonchalant they are about giant armor-clad people with sticks flinging pucks at them...

    we don't have an Ice hockey Team here in aust... which sucks, but if i were to pick a team to follow it would be The Maple Leafs.

    I don't get Ice Hockey at all.
    I think you must have to be Canadian or American to understand it.
    I'm the same with baseball.

    Love field hockey though :P

    YEah I agree with MilkMan. I understand that ice is important part of the game but i still prefere field hockey. Don't mention soccer which is even beter. But i think its local culture some nations play soccer other play baseball or even use name football to describe two different games

    I like how fluid they are at skating. The contrast between how elegant and gentile skating is, to the sport of Ice Hockey is quite interesting. :P
